The acidic form of rain or precipitation is called the Acid rain. Acid rain has harmful effects on the plants, aquatic animals and infrastructure which are caused by human emissions such as nitrogen and sulfur compounds which react in the atmosphere to produce acid rain. The distilled water which contain no carbon-di-oxide has a neutral ph of 7 and the liquids which has a ph of below 7 are acidic whereas if above 7 are called as bases. These acid rains also affect the human skin and lead to skin cancer. Acid rain can be contained by controlling the emissions of sulfur and nitrogen.
